Dear SEC, I’m writing to support the conversion of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (Symbol: GBTC), currently the world’s largest Bitcoin fund, to the first Spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States. I am a retired person with most of my assets in GBTC because I believe in Bitcoin. As a result of failing to approve an ETF, my investment has fallen considerably, dropping to a 24% discount. This is unfair. Approving a futures Bitcoin ETF had the opposite effect of protecting small investors. Mainly institutions have benefitted by selling futures and buying cash bitcoin. I live in Maine.
