Dear SEC, I’m writing to support the conversion of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (Symbol: GBTC), currently the world’s largest Bitcoin fund, to the first Spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States. I am a bedside nurse in Dallas, Texas, and have been fascinated with blockchain technology for several years. A few years ago I began investing some of my 401k into GBTC, as at the time it was the only available way to get exposure through my 401k to bitcoin. Now other investment vehicles exist, and while spot bitcoin ETFs are available in other countries, America lags behind them. Such a vehicle would help to reduce fees for my investment and hopefully increase my long-term return and help prepare me for retirement. GBTC seems a natural choice, given its place as the world’s largest Bitcoin fund and one of the first funds to establish itself as an investment vehicle in the U.S. Thank you for your time and for your consideration of my comment of support.
