Dear SEC,

I’m writing to support the conversion of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (Symbol: GBTC), currently the world’s largest Bitcoin fund, to the first Spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States.

My understanding is that the primary purpose of the SEC is to protect investors. I'm extremely disappointed as well as financially injured since Greyscale hasn't been allowed to convert to a spot ETF. The SEC is not only hurting American investors relative to our foreign (for example, Canadian) piers but also reducing American competitiveness in the cryptocurrency space.

Crypto is unlikely to go away, the US can either lead or yield ground. Slowing down Bitcoin and American adoption of Bitcoin will ultimately hurt America and Americans. The Spot Bitcoin ETF approval delays have become absurd and my friends and I don't believe that their purpose is to protect investors. Let's go already!

With kind regards,

David Kasman
