Dear SEC, I’m writing to support the conversion of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (Symbol: GBTC), currently the world’s largest Bitcoin fund, to the first Spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States. I am a firm supporter in open markets, and the spot ETF allows investors to invest in innovation in a way that they are familiar with, such as buying a stock or bond on the NYSE. The U.S. has fundamentally been a global leader in innovation and I fear that delays of products like a spot ETF is causing our nation to fall behind to the other nations that are accepting new innovation with open arms. Succeed or fail, giving new technology the chance to improve the lives our society is warranted, and is wholly an American value. I hope that the SEC approves the spot ETF.
