Dear SEC, I’m writing to support the conversion of Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (Symbol: GBTC), currently the world’s largest Bitcoin fund, to the first Spot Bitcoin ETF in the United States. I can appreciate your perspective of looking to protect the American public; however, by keeping the grayscale bitcoin trust from becoming a spot bitcoin ETF you are effectively harming the current owners of GBTC…all of which have made the decision to place their funds into GBTC understanding the potential risks. Please do not stand in the way of progress within our financial industry. Doing so will only place the United States in the back of the line as other countries continue to progress and move forward.
