A Bitcoin ETF need to be approved to allow investors to be able to purchase and sell Bitcoin through their regular investment platforms such as Fidelity and Merrell Lynch. Not having these products available forces me to use crypto specific exchanges, manage my own cold storage wallet, maintain recovery pass phrases, etc. I would be more protected, secure and comfortable if I could simply log into Fidelity and purchase a Bitcoin ETF. This should be a spot product where I am actually purchasing the asset, not futures.
