Please do not allow the NYSE to eliminate the need for annual meetings for CEFs. I can't imagine a good reason for exempting them. It is likely that the lazy or unscrupulous will take advantage of this. Perhaps most annual meetings are only a pro-forma and come at a cost, but they do provide some protection against abuse.
