I am asking you to not further take away my rights as a United States citizen by exempting closed end funds (CEF) from having annual meetings. As an investor, I should have the right to vote to elect directors annually and be able to make proposals. As an American business a CEF should have the right to hold meetings with their shareholders as they chose. Taking away such rights is one step away from communism.
