I do not believe the Proposed Rule Change Amending Section 302.00 of the NYSE Listed Company Manual to Exempt Closed-End Funds Registered Under the Investment Company Act of 1940 From the Requirement to Hold Annual Shareholder Meetings should be made. I believe investors should have the right to attend in person or virtually. Companies need to be more transparent, not less. No one, however, needs a 100+ document for the meeting. I have no problem with certain things being simplified. But I do believe that a meeting would hold companies accountable.
