I am a shareholder of several closed end funds (CEFs) and am deeply concerned by the NYSE's proposal to eliminate annual elections. It's important for the rights of shareholders like me to have these annual shareholder meetings, which provide a value opportunity to hold CEF trustees accountable and prevent poor performing trustees from serving unchecked for life without any investor recourse. Please do not allow this to happen.
