SEC, I oppose the proposed rule to allow Natural Asset Companies to trade intangible resources on the NY Stock Exchange. Allowing foreign investment in the control of our natural resources will destroy rural communities in my state of Montana. Small communities depend on access to these natural resources for their very existence. Future development of these resources may be critical in providing for our national security. Dependance on Natural Asset Companies, whose interest in these resources by possible unfavorable nations or investors, could prohibit the future use of these resources. American control of these resources must be protected. The SEC must deny foreign investment and control of our resources.
