SR-NYSE-2023-09 I am in complete opposition to this proposed rule. This Nation was founded on the concept of freedom. The NACs are in direct opposition to this cherished fact. This rule would destroy our liberty. This rule would place the United States in a precarious position should foreign entities, through the use of Natural Asset Corporations (NACs), purchase the ability to manage (control) our lands/resources. Parks were set aside to protect the wonders of our land, and NACs would endanger the preservation thereof. Public lands are available for use in agriculture and NACs would threaten that use, and hence, food security in the United States. The resources of the United States of America should not be subjected to the decisions of a few non-elected people who think they know better than the people for whom they plan to make the decisions. This unconstitutional over-reach of bureaucrats must be stopped. Please do not impose SR-NYSE-2023-09 on current and future generations of Americans! Vote “No”!
