“Good afternoon, I'm writing today to make a
comment on the proposed Natural Asset Company (NAC) establishment. I
want to say that giving a private company purview or partial ownership
of our country's natural resources are a big mistake. Not only is
it unconstitutional to allow a private company to take over management
of our federal land, it's a national security risk and a waste of
money. There are numerous government departments that already oversee
federal lands. This new legislation should not be passed. We
shouldn't allow a private company that has no accountability to
the people of the United States, to manage federal land and manage
federal property. Allowing a non governmental agency this much power
will open the pathway to corruption. With the possibility of a
national emergency where we might need resources from our land, with a
private company in charge, may not allow the United States to use the
property and could create a national crisis if our national security
does not align with the NACs corporate agenda. They could also decide
to sell the land or resources to a foreign country creating an
international crisis. The United States is a sovereign nation and
should remain as such. Please vote against this measure and do not
allow NACs to come into existence. Sincerely, Joshua Bilder Small

I agree with what Joshua Bilder has commented!
