I urge the SEC to reject the listing of "Natural Asset Companies" (NACs) on NYSE (File No. SR-NYSE-2023-09). NACs, with their unconventional accounting methods, threaten the integrity of capital markets. Their purpose, focused on non-productive management of natural resources for political goals, deviates from the traditional objectives of public companies. This poses risks to investor funds and may allow foreign entities control over critical resources. SEC's role is to protect investors; approving NACs would compromise this duty. Reject NACs from our capital markets, safeguarding American interests. Thank you. Michael Penwell North Carolina
