There should be absolutely no provision made for any foreign government, nation, business or individual to be able to purchase and or own any land and the United states. Even US citizens with any economic, social or political tie with a foreign country should be able to purchase land that would be used for the interest of the foreign entity. To repeat, no foreign entity, government, individual or business, Etc should be able to purchase land in the United states. Those that have already purchased land should be forced to relinquish that land back to the original owner, if that be an American, otherwise the land is to be put up for sale to the American public.
