The idea of allowing our national assets to be purchased by foreign entities around the world simply is a very bad idea. It opens the door for more international regulation on assets that everyone in this country relies on for energy, minerals, recreation and other outdoor activities. The fact that whomever purchases these American assets can have total control over all aspects, and I mean all aspects is basically an affront to American independence and freedom. Just to think that our parks could be closed, lands off limits for mining and drilling for energy resources, BLM lands closed for all activities is an invasion against the very freedoms that make this a great country. I am respectfully asking that this Proposed Rule Change be forever deleted and not allowed.
