I strenuously object to permitting the NYSE to list “Natural Asset Companies” or NACs, pursuant to File No. SR-NYSE-2023-09. The creative accounting measures proposed open the door to tremendous bad consequences. And productive public and private lands and natural resources should not be held as pawns in some scheme to manipulate society towards a utopian outcome or worse, including by foreign adversaries.
