I agree with the Garfield County CO statement and recommended actions. I also agree with the comment from the President of the Club for Growth Foundation, in particular that it appears that this would result in "distorting the securities marketplace to favor particular domestic policy goals—distortion that would be antithetical to the ideals of the free market." The comment from Duschene County, UT (s?) said exactly what I was thinking while researching this filing: "They [IEG] are quite literally attempting to profit from, and control, the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat, and the fuels, timber and fiber we utilize in many aspects of our lives." In addition, I agree with the comment submitted by the Otero County (NM) Cattlemen's Association, especially the closing paragraph respectfully urging the SEC to withdraw SR–NYSE–2023–09, the Proposed Rule Change To Amend the NYSE Listed Company Manual To Adopt Listing Standards for Natural Asset Companies. -- Cia Watson <ciawatson@centurylink.net>
