Thank you for considering my comments below. The SEC must reject Release No. 34-98665; File No. SR-NYSE-2023-09 and not allow the NYSE to list Natural Asset Companies (NAC's). Their very purpose is to act contrary to the market and they will endanger America's ability to utilize its natural resources to the benefit of its citizens. NAC's will undermine the ability to generate and access energy, critical minerals, water, and even food as it would a direct attack on agriculture. The recreation and tourist industry would also be affected by making National Forests and National Parks off limits. This would have a major economic effect on towns and businesses that rely on those industries. They could potentially put control over these resources in the hands of foreign governments and sovereign wealth funds. This would give these and other institutions control over America’s vital resources. This would not be in America’s best interest. Allowing the NYSE to list Natural Asset Companies will have dire consequences for the market, the United States, and should be rejected.
