Dear SEC: I am commenting on the proposed rule SR-NYSE-2023-09. I am absolutely against this rule. I believe it is, fundamentally, not right to monetize natural processes for whatever reason. It is the ultimate materialistic society and is an unnecessary windfall for wall street. Besides, to give companies and corporations control of these things through the government gives these entities, especially the government, power that they were never meant to have. The stifling of individuals and their liberties is inevitable, and it gives almost godlike authority to a centralized government. I've read through a six page summary of the proposed rule. The fact that other governments are going down this road does not mean we should, too. Thank you for hearing me, John Snyder 81 Great Brook Rd.
