Natural Asset Companies are one of the most reckless and dangerous ideas ever orchestrated and proposed before this body. The amount of control over land and resources it gives to a very small number of powerful actors and foreign actors is deeply concerning. The capacity to squeeze our farmers off their farms, miners and energy developers off their developments, and beyond while creating massive artificial wealth and power for a small number of already privileged actors, foreign and domestic, is so egregious that it shocks the conscience. That the structure of these programs matches the theoretical developments from Marxist ecology, including ecosocialism and Degrowth Communism, is positively alarming. Setting up Marxist distributism through a corrupt "capitalist" scam in NACs, running through a corporatist subsidiarity model, doesn't change its essential nature, which is evil. You must vote against them. The American people demand it.
