I oppose the formation and listing of NAC’s. Management of lands should be left up to those who live on it and have a vested local interest, not some faceless organization. Consolidating power over lands in the hands of such few individuals would be tantamount to creating feudalism. What laws may be necessary to protect the environment and limit use should, and must, be created via the legislative process lest we lose all agency and create a world in which citizens cease to exist and become lowly serfs.
