Communist revolutions seem to always start by starving
their own people. The SEC has no right to allow the creation of this
rule to withhold public or private property from productive use. I
object to both the rule and the shortened public comment time. No
private company should ever be able to assert any control over land
that it does not own or have authority over with the consent of the
owner, whether private or public. This would be a massive sea change
in federal ruling for which there is no precedent. “The federal
government has long fought the purchase of public land by private
parties, and this is a dramatic change in policy.” I object. To
permit such entities as Natural Asset Companies to exist would be an
act of grave evil and a betrayal of Americans.
