I do not support condemning land. We have enough conservation groups doing that. We have national , state and county parks that can be expanded, if necessary. This proposal has too many consequences that would disrupt local land use planning, negatively affect the tax base, negatively affect appropriate use of renewable natural resources. This scheme would require another unnecessary federal or state administrative burden for the purpose of restricting and enforcing reasonable land use and development. Fewer people than what you imagine will accept living in confining little apartments in 15 minute cities. You have no science to support this maniacal proposal.
