I wish to go on record as opposing this rule to license the management of public lands and their natural resources to publicly held companies. As poor as our government is at managing assets, the for-profit sector cannot be trusted to be good stewards of our public lands and natural resources. The Federal Government will not appropriately fund the necessary oversite to ensure that the for-profit companies are following the specifications of the contract/lease. Further, the natural and mineral rights of our public lands should NEVER be in the hands of foreign corporations or persons. M K Baldwin
