Subject: File No. SR-NYSE-2023-09
From: Laurie Anderson

Thanks to the hard work of our Wyoming Congresswoman Harriet Hageman, I respectfully and strongly oppose SR-NYSE-2023-09 regarding the creation of Natural Asset Companies, that in turn, could be listed on the New York Stock Exchange; along with any other type of heinous practice that could have similar implications. This is an attempt to circumvent the U.S. Constitution through a public/private partnership. The Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments of the United States Constitution protects property rights through its Due Process Clause, and Takings Clause. The Due Process Clause states that no person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due-process of law. The property of our nation (aka US federal lands) should absolutely not be made available for sale; as federal lands are property to all US citizens. This is a threat to national security by allowing rouge nations, foreign entities, and special interest groups power and control, as they continue to strangle our country. Only the U.S. Congress has the authority to change laws with respect to property rights. Our God-given natural resources are not for sale. This is just another way to crush rural America, and risk our national security! This is absolutely evil! (Note: this is my 2nd comment submission, as the 1st attempt did not include my comments.)
