Please disapprove this rule change. The proposed rule change ought to be opposed as it deceptively allows for the taking of American citizens’ property and natural resources and compromises American sovereignty, for the benefit of partisan government and politicians’ greed. Enrolling lands, including National Parks, into NACs and thus transferring managing authority to the NACs is unconstitutional and dangerous for many reasons, not least of all the potential for allowing foreign entities to inhabit or utilize the land and/or profit from the resources. This would be another significant step in cutting the American people out of their say on their land and natural resources. Many lobbyists and politicians would aim to prioritize their greed over what is best for American citizens’ welfare.
