I strongly oppose the proposed category of Natural Asset Companies. I am asking the SEC to not allow NACs, a category proposed by the Intrinsic Exchange Group. Interestingly enough, two of IEG's major investors are the Rockefeller Foundation and the NYSE. Imagine that. One glaring problem is the way IEG is selling its natural asset model. Investors beware. No investment professionals can explain how investors will make money on NACs without imaginary accounting. Furthermore, NACs would hand over the rights to land, natural resources, even the air, to private investors who have neither America’s best interests nor the public’s economic well-being in mind. This is not about protecting the planet. This is about power and money.
