We absolutely do not want private ownership of any aspect of America's resources. Just look at what happened with covid and the censorship process through mainstream media. The government began working with Big Tech to censor American's freedom of speech. The first amendment of the US Constitution. It became politicized by the Biden administration to support their position to the extent that they put doctors out of their jobs or any personnel out of their jobs and positions when their opinions differed from Democratic positions and positions of Big Pharma or government workers who receive benefits from Big Pharma such as patent rights. The Big Tech companies were allowed censorship rights because they were PRIVATE companies and had been given special rights to do as they please with the rights of the citizens of the country, especially freedom of speech. So this is also the problem that will evolve into huge problems for the country as the US Constitution is violated by private companies protected because they are PRIVATE as opposed to government which is restricted from these activities by law. Also who has the money to purchase American resources? Certainly not poor Americans or even middle class Americans. This is a deeply prejudiced idea favoring the elite and rich. The rich and elite or countries such as China or Russia and other communist countries could purchase and subsequently violate the US Constitution or voting or management of resources to benefit our enemies. It is imperative that this is controlled as it is now by State or Federal governments. Do NOT allow private ownership of America's resources! It may go along with current left wing and Democratic narratives now but what happens when that unexpectedly changes to conservative views or libertarian views which then changes to their narratives to support their views in the future. They may have authoritarian views undesirable to all portions of the American culture and freedom.
