Subject: File No. SR-NYSE-2023-09 Asking the SEC to NOT ALLOW NACs To all involved at the SEC: I'm opposed. I am urging the SEC to NOT allow the NYSE to list “Natural Asset Companies” or NACs, pursuant to File No. SR-NYSE-2023-09 The continued efforts to financialize productive natural resources to subvert the legal system, to pervert the capital markets, and to cause harmful outcomes for both investors and the US alike cannot be enabled. The allowance of companies let alone companies owned and operated by foreign countries should absolutely not be allowed. Once these lands are placed into trusts they will never be available for us, U.S. citizens to ever be able own. Or the if national parks are sold they will lose their rights to be free from development and deforestation. The is a grievance which should never see the light of day. The land of the United States should only be held by that of citizens of this country. Let’s look at china. They do not allow their land to be held by outsiders, whom do you think will be the first to purchase these? We already have national security issues happening with china buying land adjacent to our military bases, which in of itself is detrimental enough. We need to make sure our land is only available to our citizens and no one else. This proposal is in violation of the supreme court ruling of North Caroline v EPA. There is no legislative directing or allowing this type of behavior by the SEC.
