I'm opposed to allowing the SEC make such a weighty decision with far-reaching implications in public land management. The information that is publicly available is difficult to understand, even for those following this closely. The implications are muddy. Bypassing the legislative process boxes out the public voice that should be weighing in on this matter. Do not allow small interest groups to affect public policy to this degree.
