I am writing an opposition to approval of the National Asset Company. This new type of entity will put into the hands of Corporations, and foreign adversaries the control of American assets (both private and public). In addition, the proposed new accounting practices developed to validate this new type of entity have no basis in the fundemental practice of financial accounting. They are similar in nature to the derivative that caused the 2008 crash and will asuredly wreak havoc and lead to significant distress and potentially collapse of our financial system. The SEC should not adopt or approve this proposed rule change.
