I am writing an opposition to approval of the National Asset Company. This new type of entity will put into the hands of private individuals, Corporations, and foreign adversaries the control of American assets (both private and public). In addition, the proposed new accounting practices developed to validate this new type of entity have no basis in the fundamental practice of financial accounting, and will assuredly wreak havoc and lead to significant distress and potentially collapse of our financial system. The SEC should not adopt or approve this proposed rule change.
