I am opposed to the creation of NAC's and the selling off of public land so corporations can hold these as "assets". Allowing this to take place would be a disaster for public access and recreation, in a time where outdoor engagement is needed the most for American citizens. If corporations can purchase and manage public land and override existing management policy, then our public lands can be held by investors both domestic and foreign. This is a national security issue and must be stopped. There is no precedent that justified the creation of these types of NAC's. There is no public support for this action either, only special interest groups whose objective is to keep the public away from public lands. It's a cynical ploy to disenfranchise the US citizen from public land and I implore the SEC to stop this dead in its tracks.
