It would be an absolute travesty for Uncle Sam to start selling off its national parks... to make these beautiful public lands "open for business." It was the noble side of human nature that decided to protect some of the fleeting wonders of the planet from the steamroller of human progress. It would be our savage side that removes the protection to allow competitive, parasitic, and predatory forces in human society to "make a quick buck" at the expense of a badly struggling planet. It's my hope and prayer that our national parks, at least, can survive the encroaching darkness. Please show that Uncle Sam can still be noble enough to protect those gems. Thanks, Mark Macy
