I am from rural Nebraska with wide open vistas and cattle and corn and blue sky and the Beauty of God's handiwork. Our people love the land and work diligently to preserve it, all the while striving to improve it and reap bountiful harvests from it. It is our land! It is owned by us, albeit we are only the stewards of the land, truly a gift from the Creator, GOD, which brings with it an obligation to protect it and the natural resources and flora and fauna it harbors. We are diligent in our efforts. However, the NAC's which are being proposed will militate against our private ownership and our ability to earn a living on the land. We don't need nor do we want NAC's to cannibalize the land we live on and have raised our families on. I am adamantly opposed to NAC's and from what I can glean from my reading, to implement this scheme is a violation of the violation of the “text and purposes of federal securities laws, the Administrative Procedure Act, and the U.S. Constitution". I am absolutely opposed to the Natural Asset Companies proposal.
