I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to bring your attention to a matter of utmost importance that affects our nation's heritage and natural resources. Recent developments, as documented on the Federal Register published on Oct 4, 2023, reveal a concerning trend in our Federal Government's approach to our National Parks, Public Lands, Natural Reserves, large-scale farm lands, and even private property. It has come to light that there is a proposal to sell off these invaluable assets to Wall Street, enabling the creation of Natural Asset Companies (NACs). These NACs would operate as publicly tradable securities, allowing foreign adversaries and anti-agricultural interests to potentially purchase and control shares in companies managing our vital ecosystems. The New York Stock Exchange, in collaboration with the Securities and Exchange Commission, is actively working towards this goal. The implications of this plan are alarming. Instead of being managed by public land agencies, these lands would fall under the control of corporations, with the rights and authority for conservation, restoration, or sustainable management vested in NACs. Furthermore, these rights could be licensed to foreign governments, including the CCP (Chinese Communist Party), and other nations, as well as private owners. The privatization of our National Parks and public lands is a grave threat to our natural heritage, and it is crucial that we act swiftly to prevent this from happening. It is disconcerting to learn that entities like the Rockefellers, Blackrock, and Wall Street are eyeing Quadrillions of economic value through this proposed scheme. I urge you to join the collective effort to stop this alarming trend. Our National Parks and public lands are a shared treasure that should not be treated as commodities for financial gain. Let us stand together to protect the legacy we leave for future generations. Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. Sincerely,
