I am against the creation of Natural Asset Companies. Such companies present the prospect of inappropriately constraining the benefits of American public lands, waters and air, which were established and FUNDED BY TAXPAYERS FOR TAXPAYERS and their welfare. Moreover, such companies present an unconstitutional restriction of individual Americans’ property rights and other freedoms. It is alarming that such NACs offer troublesome opportunities to foreign countries, many of whom act inimically to the interests of the USA. Given the radical nature of this proposal, the Commission should extend the time available for comment on this proposed Rule SR-NYSE-2023-09 or, better, reject it outright immediately.
