The concept of National Asset Companies is ill conceived and poses a significant threat to the 1976 mandate stipulated by the US congress that public lands should be managed for multiple use. The NAC's should not be listed on any stock exchange. The idea of companies owning/managing public ground instead of the people that it belongs to is unthinkable and would prove disastrous to concept of public access and even US security if foreign government were a part of NAC's. This proposed action needs to be stopped in its tracks.
