Natural Asset Companies (NACs) should not be allowed. Why would America willingly give up our farming, mineral, water and/or air rights to anyone – foreign or domestic – that wants to “buy” into these assets? These assets, belong to the American taxpayers. As a hunter, hiker, and logger – these lands that the American taxpayer pays for – belong to us and need to be managed by us. I see this as a land grab to hold the American people hostage in the future – even “green energy” requires fossil fuels in the form of oil, grease and lubricants to keep engines running. And some, like wind turbines, use more than most people know. They certainly don’t advertise that 1 wind turbine uses over 2.1K gallons of oil in a year. Our log trucks don’t use anywhere near that, and they haul renewable energy products all year long. We all know (but not all acknowledge) “green energy” is not really green, nor is it sustainable without government subsidies. There are multiple examples without looking too deep – like the child slaves used to mine cobalt for EV batteries. These same batteries that cannot be recycled, remanufactured, or repurposed. There is a 501c(3) whose sole purpose is to pick up the dead birds under wind turbines at windmill farms – those birds may or may not be endangered and/or illegal to kill. These are just 2 of many examples in how green energy is not really better for the environment. Why do the American taxpayers need to give away even more rights and more of our hard earned money in the form of NACs? There is a track record of NAC-type commodities failing – Climate Exchange=Traded Fund, ESG, Net-Zero (https://the-pipeline.org/as-net-zero-comes-a-cropper-a-new-threat-arises/). Why would we want to spend more of taxpayers’ money in a commodity proven to fail three times before? Why would we want to give up our resources and lands to outsiders to manage? To corporations like BlackRock and Vanguard who have shown us their true colors and their allegiance to the UN and WEF. These companies only want to control us and will happily agree to a 1 world government. They want to control our farming, mining, and even our air. Vote no on NACs. NYSE and IEG do not need to get involved in politics and we, the American Constituents do not want our lands managed by foreign or domestic individuals, companies and even countries.
