I do not support this proposed rule. This proposed rule could allow foreign companies to come in and buy up land or other groups to buy up land and sit on it. At what price is America for sale? The government and wall street are trying to make a profit at whatever the cost. Would it be at the cost of removing land from farmers and ranchers? Farmers and ranchers feed America and our exports feed other countries as well. Farmers and ranchers also care about the land and do practice caretaking of the land so if that is what our government is wanting then why not work with land owners through state ag outreach and create a partnership. If this proposal is approved it is proof that our federal government is only interested in making money at the expense of removing land from feeding people or provide energy or livelihoods for hard working Americans.
