Please do not embrace the National Asset Company initiative. Having lived through a forest fire in the Snowy Range forest fire (Mullen Creek fire), it is the lack of logging efforts that was so devastating to our community. There was the Savage Run Wilderness area that was a 'hot box' fire that burnt the gound so bad it will take decades to recover. Forests are a dynamic resource that need care, much as a lawn needs mowed or fruit tree trimmed to remain viable. To turn them into museums that cannot be cared for is a step backwards. Look to California and their wildfires, ignorance in management of subgrowth in forests led to devastating economic impact to not only local communities, but to state and federal agencies. There is work to be done in these lands to care for them properly, not making them museums. Thank you
