The SEC has no right to claim authority over natural assets as these belong to We The People. This proposed rule is the highest form of self imposed enrichment and illegal gain for a small group of people, without regard to anyone else. Whenever the government or a government agency becomes involved in anything, it is immediately biased by special interest groups and lobbying, thereby circumventing the will of the people. This is not an acceptable action that has been proposed to be taken by the SEC, or anyone else for that matter and I vehemently oppose its implementation.
