The SEC has no right to allow trading of lands and resources owned by the American people. This measure is unconstitutional and an insult to democracy. My county in Utah is currently 92% federally controlled, but at least most of the lands are accessible either free or through a modest permitting or leasing process. My livestock business and livelihood depend on access to open public lands. This measure will allow hostile corporations with profit motives to buy up those lands and shut us out completely. There is nothing in this rule that prevents China, Russia or other enemies of freedom from using third parties to buy up lands and resources as a commodity and charging us for them in return. We are on the verge of losing our access to public lands as well as our sovereignty as a nation, and the SEC is facilitating the takeover by hostile players. STOP THIS!
