I am firmly opposed to the SEC rule authorizing Natural Asset Companies. These companies will not have the best interests of Americans in mind as they manage their land. Stopping drilling, mining, grazing and recreation on public land will have devastating consequences for ranchers, miners, oil companies and the small businesses and small towns that support them. The SEC should not be engaged in devastation. These major changes involving 30% of our country’s land and water areas are too big to be authorized by unelected government employees. They must be debated and enacted by Congress. Please stop advancing this rule until Congress has made a decision
