AGAINST. If such a rule is to be considered, there should be a large national conversation whereby THE PEOPLE are allowed to fully understand the ramifications. This rule appears to be unconstitutional insomuch as it infringes on Americans’ property rights and states’ rights. It allows foreign powers (including hostile powers such as China) to control public lands, water, minerals, and all natural resources. In addition, I support the excellent comments of American Stewards of Liberty, Blue Ribbon Coalition, Financial Fairness Alliance, and Club for Growth, all dated October 25, 2023. I urge the Commission to REJECT this rule and any other rule like it.
