Dear sirs, Even though the world is completely interconnected and collaboration amongst countries is inevitable, there is a line that must be drawn on the grounds of homeland security and food system integrity. American land and its natural resources cannot be owned by foreign investors, companies or countries that do not share our values, and are not aligned with US democratic system. Specifically investors from China should not be allowed to own any land or take a majority ownership of any American company. These Chinese companies are obligated to comply with Chinese government laws as it pertains to information sharing, disregarding our privacy and intellectual property.
