Re: SR-NYSE-2023-09 Notice of Filing of Proposed Rule Change to Amend the NYSE Listed Company Manual to Adopt Listing Standards for Natural Asset Companies 1) Allowing the SEC, and by relationship, the US government, the ability of the newly created National Asset Companies to direct the use of private, commercial and public lands irrespective of the property owners is frightening and and very likely unconstitutional. 2) Allowing foreign individuals and entities to hold shares in these NAC’s opens up a significant risk to the US sovereignty, economy and way of life. This is a very clandestine approach for the US government and other entities around the world to take de facto “ownership” of significant wealth and power in the United States. The fact that the filing, which was very quietly disclosed and only provided a few months of public comment on such a potential disruption to the US, is beyond reproach. As a US citizen, I vehemently disagree with this proposed rule change.
