Why the proposed SEC rule SR-NYSE-2023-09 is a bad idea and should be withdrawn from consideration. 1 - NAC companies that would be available on the NYSE would be selling our public and private lands to the highest bidder and as a result American citizens would lose control of their private property rights and would be giving up control of the management direction of our public lands 2 - Allowing NAC’s that could be owned by foreign governments or special interest groups puts to much power into the hands of a select few which in turn would be bad for the American citizens. 3 - Rural economies rely on farmers, ranchers, miners, and many other industries for their existence, NAC’s would destroy these rural communities. 4 - Say NO to SR-NYSE-2023-09 and keep our public lands available to American citizens to make the decisions on how to manage them and keep our private lands to be managed by the private property owners.
