My comment is to oppose the creation of Natural Asset Companies due to the constitutional (state and national) violations present including our due process afforded us in matters of natural rights. This action would continue the stripping of our national sovereignty allowing personal and other nation ownership of our own nation's natural resources. It opens up the risk of excessive and nefarious controlling and regulating of our natural resources. It would override the legislative process that represents this nation's citizens. "NACs present a host of issues and problems, which can only be addressed correctly and by Constitutional design through Congress as lawful representatives of the public and its rights and interests, not by government agency fiat. The problems and issues I am concerned with about NACs have been clearly and comprehensively presented to the SEC in the following public responses, which oppose NACs, and which I strongly recommend you research and consider: Board of Yakima County Commissioners, Dec. 26; Board of Commissioners, County of Elk, PA. I would also guide you to the letter to the SEC of November 2, 2023 by Senators Ricketts, Crapo, and Risch requesting clarification on the proposed rule: Self-Regulatory Organizations; New York Stock Exchange LLC; Notice of Filing of Proposed Rule Change to Amend the NYSE Listed Company Manual to Adopt Listing Standards for Natural Asset Companies." Where is the communication to the people of this nation asking for their input? Our nation is not be "owned" by private investors or other nations. Trickle, trickle, trickle...and this could lead to the stripping of other assumed and legal rights and property. There should be mandated public service announcements whereby every citizen must demonstrate that they have heard and understood any laws and actions taken by non-elected entities that infringe upon state or constitutional rights. Thank you.
